How often does one get to think “I’m the luckiest person in the world!” For me, it’s not as often as I’d like, but that’s changing thanks to this week. One thing I can tell you from personal experience is that when I keep a positive attitude at the forefront of my mind, I am more creative, happier and life is sweeter. As I was sitting in my car earlier this week, a fantastic idea came to me while I was smiling. When you’re bogged down in negativity your creativity hides. Stay positive and create wonderful things, and even if they don’t work out, at least you’re trying something new! You never know, your little idea could explode and be the next big thing! I love the quote “the mighty oak was once a little nut that stood it’s ground.”
This week I got to interview Elizabeth Chambers, someone that I’ve been wanting to sit down and chat with for a long time and recognize her positivity with a Positive Pin™ and my Project Positivity. She’s a local small business owner and an indirect contributor to me exercising more, thanks to their chocolate chunk walnut cookies. She owns the coolest bakery in San Antonio called Bird Bakery located at 5912 Broadway, San Antonio TX 78209 and if you haven’t been there you really need to stop by. Every time that I go into Bird Bakery I get a warm and sincere greeting from her staff, and when I leave they seem genuinely sad to see me go. I don’t let that go to my head though, that’s the way they treat everyone. I had to know how her staff was being trained because good customer service is getting harder and harder to find. So I sat down with Elizabeth for an interview that will be coming out in NSIDE magazine, stay tuned for that issue because you’ll learn some valuable tips about staying positive and living a positive life.

Hey guys, Jonathan with the Positive Pin we are now at week 33 and this is a monumental week if I must say so. So many great things are happening in my life and most importantly I get to have Elizabeth Chambers as my recipient of this week’s positive pin. Now, for those of you who don’t know Elizabeth has a bakery here in San Antonio, it’s called Bird Bakery, BirdBakery.com it’s going to be here right at the bottom of the video and the best in my opinion walnut chocolate chip cookies in the city, maybe in the state, maybe in the world and they have a bunch of great pastries so you gotta come and check them out. But anyway, the reason why I want to recognize Elizabeth is really because of her staff. Every time we come in here, her staff is amazing and you can’t have amazing staff without amazing leadership.
So Elizabeth thank you very much for being so positive and being an inspiration here’s our positive pin.
Elizabeth
Thank you so much, I love it, I am honored, I will wear it always.
Jonathan
Is there anything you want to tell our fans about what thinking positive means to you.
Elizabeth
I would just say that it means you can get through a day and be a much happier person you have a choice to choose a negative thought or a positive thought and you have one life to live so at the end of the day choose a positive thought. I always look at elderly people and you know they are just so chill and relaxed and they just, it seems like they settle in to something like they know a secret that takes us our whole life to learn and I think that’s just to be present at the moment and not worry about things because at the end of the day there are some things you can’t change and the only thing you do have control over is your thoughts, so do choose a good one.
Jonathan
She is absolutely right, there’s a saying we’ve all heard it a wealth of knowledge because knowledge is wealth and the more you know, really the wealthy you are which it relates to people who are being old because it accumulated all these knowledge and they realize it some other things that people think aren’t that big of a deal really aren’t, Les Brown said don’t sweat the small stuff it’s all small stuff so thank you for being so awesome and guys connect with us on our page positivepin.com and come visit Bird Bakery, see you next week.
