One of the most valuable lessons I have learned about being positive is that there is great joy in promoting others rather than myself. If you truly want to reap the benefits of this action, it has to be when you have nothing to gain but the reward of seeing others succeed. I promoted my friends free SEO class to several small businesses today and it had me so fired up I wanted to keep going to more small businesses. The reason he is doing this free SEO class is to help local small businesses grow, learn and use the tools and tips he provides. It’s truly a noble cause and he is a great role model for others.
Here are a few other tips on how to be a little more positive:
Thankfulness and gratefulness = a positive attitude (say Thank You more)
Promoting others when you have nothing to gain = a positive feeling
Accomplishing a goal = positive self confidence.
