Project Positivity – Think Positive™ with Marissa Tejeda

In this interview I sit down Marissa Tejeda, mother, speaker, entrepreneur, and all around powerhouse! I’m not kidding, she is a ball of positive energy and lights up the room when he walks in. It seems that she knows about 90% of San Antonio and is certainly a unique person. I first met Marissa at a battered woman non-prfit fundraiser and I knew that I wanted to get her on film because of her positive energy. What I learned from Marissa was that to her, it’s important to love yourself, that things will be alright, and that you need to be happy with who you are. I got the feeling that she doesn’t lose any sleep if someone doesn’t like her. I like that about her, and I think it shows a real sign if strength when someone can hold themselves a higher standard. Thank you Marissa, it was an honor to sit down with you and listen to your tips.

Fill your mind with good things rather than toxic garbage, and remember to think positive thoughts as often as possible. I suggest reading as many good positive things that you can, in the way of quotes and books. Books like The Power of Positive ThinkingThink and Grow RichThree Feet from Gold, and a number of other inspirational and motivating books.  Immersing yourself in ways to think positive thoughts and do positive things is the key to a happy life. Whatever you want to be or become, chances are high that someone that has already done it and become successful has written a book about it.  Read that book!  I love the saying “leaders are readers” because it reminds me that I need to continue to read more and more every day.
