Project Positivity 2014 – Think Positive™ with Edmund and Leela

In this  video I get to sit down with two very special people I was introduced to about a year ago.  My friend Bryan Hixon went to school with Edmond and thankfully stayed in touch with him since.  As you’ll see in this interview, Edmond and Leela are both genuine kind and giving people.  One of the first meetings with Edmond, he gave us a yoga class.  I can see him as a master Yogi, and that might be the journey that he is on.  His voice is soothing and his demeanor is kind, and I can’t imagine anyone not liking this sweet couple.  Some of the principals that they preach is being positive is a choice.  We have the choice to live a positive life or a negative one, and it will take some mental strength to get there.  Another tip they give is to be grateful, because we often overlook our blessings.  They both recommend meditation, and surrounding yourself with positive people.  It’s said that you are a product of your environment, and if you surround yourself with negative people, guess what kind of person you will likely become?  Leela also gave her family some gratitude books to help them realize on a daily basis the blessings that they have.  I was so happy to have them for my interview, and I won’t be surprised if they Positive Pins™ that I gave them are given away to someone in need in the next few days.  It’s just the kind of people they are.

It’s an interesting and simple thing being positive.  When you surround yourself with positive people, you feel more positive about your life.  The same holds true for negativity, if you hang around negative people, you’ll become just like them.  So do your best to be around positive people, and if all of your friends are negative, then be alone.  It is better to be alone and in a positive spirit, than be with a group of people that are negative.  Seek out like minded positive people and your unlimited successful future is guaranteed!  Also read great positive books like The Power of Positive Thinking, Think and Grow Rich, Three Feet from Gold, and a number of other inspirational and motivating books.  Whatever you want to be or become, chances are high that someone that has already done it and become successful has written a book about it.  Read that book!  I love the saying “leaders are readers” because it reminds me that I need to continue to read more and more every day.

If you know of anyone that should be recognized for their positive attitude, please contact me so that we can keep this positive vibe spreading.  And get some Positive Pins™ to wear or share!

Sincerely,

Jonathan de la Garza
