Project Positivity 2015 – Think Positive with Darnicia Clay

A few weeks ago I attended a Get Motivated seminar to see my hero Les Brown  speak. While there I couldn’t help but notice a woman with pretty long pink hair that had a certain confidence about herself. She also had some noticeable burns but you wouldn’t know it, to see her walking across the room. She smiled and there was something magnetic about her.  As fate would have it she also came to the extended seminar to learn how to write a book. I asked her why she was inspired to write a book and she said “I want to inspire people to live a happier more positive life.” I KNEW there was something about this girl that I liked. Her name is Darnicia Clay, she’s a veteran and was burned in an automobile accident while serving overseas. She will be the first to tell you that she was one of the lucky ones in the car, because others in the car did not make it out of the accident alive. Now she has a beautiful daughter and is teaching her the principals of entrepreneurship, positivity, and success. I present to you my short interview with Darnicia Clay.

Fill your mind with good things rather than toxic garbage, and remember to think positive thoughts as often as possible. I suggest reading as many good positive things that you can, in the way of quotes and books. Books like The Power of Positive ThinkingThink and Grow RichThree Feet from Gold, and a number of other inspirational and motivating books.  Immersing yourself in ways to think positive thoughts and do positive things is the key to a happy life. Whatever you want to be or become, chances are high that someone that has already done it and become successful has written a book about it.  Read that book!  I love the saying “leaders are readers” because it reminds me that I need to continue to read more and more every day.
