Positive Thoughts through radio

Image

On Tuesday I was asked if I’d like to participate in a radio broadcast called Inspiration 4 Life.  Inspiration 4 Life is the brainchild of CEO/Founder/Host (and everything else) Rita Hernandez.  Rita is a good friend of  Valerie Anne Chavira Luna and when we donated some Positive Pins™ to Valerie’s charity event, she asked me if I’d be interested in coming on their show and talking about my mission to spread positivity.  How could I turn that opportunity down?!

If you don’t know Valerie, she grew up in El Paso, is a former Ms. River City and all around wonderful woman.  She’s constantly giving her time to people in need and is putting on a toy drive this Thursday for SAMMinistries.  If you’re interested in attending the event click HERE.  You might even see her out giving her time to judge youth beauty pageants too!

Rita does so many things that if I were to type it all here, it’d be several pages long.  In a nutshell, she’s a massage therapist and certified faith and fat loss trainer.  She’s also a very wonderful mother, and before our interview we got to chat about some of the things that she and her family are doing.  I love hearing stories about parents that inspire and motivate their children and she has some great stories about what her kids are doing.  I’m looking forward to the positive impact they will make on our city.  If you’re interested in hearing some positive thoughts in our broadcast click HERE to find out how.

Here are a few photos from the radio interview.  Please don’t judge too harshly, it’s “No Shave November” for me and I am trying to raise awareness for prostate cancer, and we just came from the gym.  We’re pretty casually dressed.

Need a reminder to stay positive?

Good morning friends,

I hope that you’re all having a great week and staying positive!  I’d like to encourage you all to contact me if you have something positive to share, because the more we can bring sunshine and bright positive light to the world, the more of an impact we’ll make.

So the other day I got an email from someone asking me to review this application that was created to remind people to think positive thoughts throughout their day.  It’s actually an idea that I had too a while ago, but did not take action on creating it.  I am glad that someone has taken the initiative to help generate some positive energy out there.  Thank you Yaron Ilani for creating this neat and helpful application.  I hope that a lot of people support you with your endeavor.

Application
Remember that our lives are what we make of it.  We can choose to be positive and focus on our blessings or we can choose to be negative and focus on all of our challenges.  Everyone has challenges, the thing that separates the happy people from the sad ones are what they focus on.  I’m here if you need me, and I hope that I can help you stay positive with my commitment to spread positivity around the web and the world.
Sincerely,
Jonathan
