Project Positivity 2012 Volume 24 – Think Positive™

Have you ever met an older person that has a great outlook on life?  It’s so refreshing when I meet elderly people that reflect on their past experiences with joy and happiness.  They’ve made the choice to focus on all the good things that happened to them over the course of their lives, not the challenges that everyone faces. I guess that’s where the term “wealth of knowledge” comes from.  The elderly are rich with past experiences, both of successes and failures, and there’s a lot we could learn from them if we slow down and take the time to listen to their stories.  Watch this video of Betty Benjamin explain how she stays positive.

And is there anything you want to tell our fans about how thinking positive has affected your life?
Betty
Well I would say keep busy, and  um be family oriented, and um, just be happy
Jonathan
That’s a great point, I read that scientists are  usually a more positive, more positive people because they have a goal and they are busy and it keeps their mind focused on uh  achieving a task so they’re generally more positive, so that’s a great, that’s a great answer
Betty
